CO Medical Marijuana Laws Being Revised

Colorado rulemakers have decided to simplify the medical marijuana rules, mainly due to the fact that marijuana is now legalized in Colorado. The rulemakers realize that spending large sums of money to enforce medical marijuana laws is futile.

Since 2010, Colorado officials have claimed to be watching the medical marijuana industry closely. But it turns out they haven’t been watching at all. The state acknowledged that they haven’t been keeping an eye on the industry via state-regulated surveillance cameras connected to the internet.

State officials claimed the medical marijuana laws were over-regulating the industry and that the new rules will be simpler, more enforceable, and less ambitious.
