Colorado Marijuana Dispensaries See Sales Soar During Health Crisis

Some marijuana dispensaries in Colorado are comparing sales over the last week to those experienced around the marijuana holiday, 4/20. Marijuana entertainment businesses, such as marijuana tours, are not permitted to operate during the state’s shutdown order. Consumers and medical marijuana patients are stocking up.

One marijuana tour company is still partying, but streaming online instead of piling into tour buses, CBS Denver reports. My 420 Tours is also hiring staff to support its digital enterprise from content creators to video editors. The positions have opened due to the changes having to be made during the shut in.

Danny Schaefer of My 420 Tours said, “We’ve had some phenomenal feedback about that because people can stream our content anywhere on the globe that definitely opens up our potential customer base and allows us to monetize what it is and how we do it.”

Colorado officials have not commented on the state’s marijuana supply or its ability to meet the increased demand.
