Colorado Marijuana Sales Already Up 17% from 2017

The Colorado Department of Revenue reported that January 2018’s marijuana sales were $10 million more than in January 2017. Dispensaries raked in $118 million in January, with retail revenue increasing 16.7%.

Medical marijuana sales have steadily declined, displaying an 8% drop from numbers in January 2017 and January 2018, according to Westword. In just Denver in last year, sales were $577.5 million. Winter is the slowest time for marijuana sales in the city.

It’s projected that Denver alone could sell around $504.8 million this year.
