Best Known Pipe Cleaner

Do you need to know how to safely and efficiently clean your pipe?

Nowadays more people own expensive fumed glass work pipes, costing anywhere from upward of $100. A common mistake when cleaning a glass pipe is the use of excessive hot water on borosilicate, Schott, Duran or Pyrex glass pipes. This might work for a while, but small fractures can make it weaken over time. Always use lukewarm water when cleaning your glass pipe. Another bad habit is using stiff bristled brushes or chemical abrasives on your fine glass works. Micro-scratches will cause more resin and tar to harden which create deep stains. Almost all chemical pipe cleaners risk leaving behind toxic residue, contaminating your pipe or compromising the medicinal qualities of your smoking experience.

There are a few ways to clean your glass pipes. We’ve tested many formulas until we found one pipe cleaning formula we can finally call the “gold standard.” This pipe cleaning solution leaves no residues and contained zero VOCS (volatile organic compounds), yet easily and quickly dissolved stubborn pipe stains such as molds, fungus, mildews, tars, oils, and resins from ceramic, glass, metal, or plastic surfaces!

We were amazed to discover that most pipe cleaning formulas (which claimed to be non-toxic) had chemicals proven to be harmful to life. The only 100% non-hazardous and biodegradable botanical-based soap formula we found is made with water, fatty acids, folic acid, organic alcohol, and mineral-based surfactants.

That is why we highly recommend Kleen Green Gold. You simply dilute Kleen Green Gold solution 6 parts to 1 with distilled water for mild to moderate pipe cleaning; or 4 parts to 1 for heavy duty pipe cleaning, making it very affordable too. Just add the Kleen Green Gold, secured with your pipe in a sturdy zip lock freezer bag and shake it well. When clean, gently rinse with lukewarm water and your pipe will look brand new.
